REVIEW PROCEDURE
All manuscripts submitted to International Journal of Emerging Research in Applied Medical Sciences (IJERAMS) follow a structured double-blind peer review procedure to ensure academic quality, transparency, and impartiality.
Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial board to check for scope relevance, plagiarism, formatting, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts that pass this screening are assigned to at least two independent subject experts who review the work without knowing the identity of the authors, and vice versa.
Reviewers are given 2 to 3 weeks to submit their detailed evaluation, which includes assessments of originality, methodology, clarity, literature relevance, ethical integrity, and contribution to the field. Based on the feedback received, the editorial board makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept without revision
- Minor revisions required
- Major revisions required
- Reject
If revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the author with reviewer comments. The revised manuscript may be sent for re-evaluation if necessary. Final acceptance is given only after the editor is satisfied with all revisions and ethical standards.
The journal maintains strict confidentiality throughout the review process and adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards to ensure integrity and fairness in peer review.
