PEER REVIEW POLICY

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Emerging Research in Applied Medical Sciences (IJERAMS) undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review. This method maintains impartiality and promotes a fair evaluation of the scholarly content.

Each submitted manuscript is initially screened by the editorial team for scope, format, and originality. Suitable manuscripts are then assigned to a minimum of two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on scientific quality, clarity, originality, methodology, ethical standards, and relevance to the journal's focus.

The editorial team makes a final decision - accept, revise, or reject - based on reviewers' comments and recommendations. The typical review timeline is 2 to 4 weeks, though it may vary depending on reviewer availability and the nature of the revisions.

The journal strictly adheres to the ethical guidelines of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and ensures that all participants in the peer review process follow professional standards of confidentiality, transparency, and responsibility. Reviewers are expected to declare any conflict of interest and maintain strict confidentiality regarding the manuscript's content.
